Waiters Sits Out Against Marquette

Quietly missing from Syracuse' loss against Marquette today was freshman guard Dion Waiters. Many have speculated that Waiters might be suspended after he appeared to curse at coach Boeheim in Tuesday's loss at Seton Hall.

Today was the first time all season Waiters did not play.

When asked why he chose to keep the freshman on the bench, coach Boeheim cited Waiters' poor play, adding, "Other than that, I can't think of any."

Waiters claimed he was still on the team. That may be true right now, but for how long?
