Syracuse Ends Regular Season No. 11 in Coaches Poll

The Orange had a light week, playing at home against DePaul, a game in which they destroyed the Blue Demons. They also benefitted from Louisville's loss at West Virginia, taking their spot at No. 11 in this week's ESPN/USA Today coaches poll.

Syracuse is now the third highest rated Big East team in the coaches poll, behind only third ranked Pittsburgh and fourth ranked Notre Dame.

Other than those three, it was a rough week for the Big East. The Cardinals fell to No. 14, while St. John's and Connecticut dropped to No.'s 18 and 19, respectively. Georgetown moved down to No. 22 after an ugly loss to Cincinnati.

Villanova had two tough games last week against Pitt and Notre Dame, and losing both of those dropped them out of the top 25. Along with the Wildcats, West Virginia and Cincinnati received votes from the pollsters but were not ranked.
